University Journey to 1st PR :-
It was July 2025 i was admitted to JIS University . Then after few weeks we came for SIP(Student Induction Programme). It is usual every college does this . 1st two days i didn't understood what was going on in the university also in the SIP. But in the 3rd day the communities arivved one by one in the university to introduce themselves . Geek For Geeks , Google Student then Google Developer Group which i was curiously waiting for. Where i first meet with .
Hacktoberfest 2025 :-
Usually after Student Induction Programme our classes started . After somedays GDG JIS UNIVERISTY conducted an Huge event of Hacktoberfest Meetup 2025 programme.
There i first got to know what is Open Source Programme actually is and how the Github and other things actually work. Also the main thing Hacktoberfest ; got every details of it . Usually then i went to the Hacktoberfest portal :
and registered there.
in the event acutally encouraged us to make a first PR . For a beginner i acutally updated some readme content of Elixpo Chapter. As a 1st PR it checked by admin and accepted .
Then i gone through youtube and learned the Github commands and PR system within some days . Then i expanded my knowledge about the open source contribution more . From Youtube i got some channels who have their contribution repositeries . There i made 10-12 commits and PR . Cause i know i have to make it to the advance level and also expand my learning of new coding stuffs(Programming Language etc). But there is not much time left of the month October. There i got panicked that whether i can made 6/6 successful PR or not. But in Novemeber some got accepted and I got the supercontributor badge . That day i was so excited and orderd my Hacktoberfest 2025 T-shirt. From this Hacktoberfest journey i learnt about the Github, Open Source Contributions and how this contributions actually help to strengthen the coding part of every individual who are contributing. Because if you want to make something it can be an app or website , service anything you will reallize how important is to know about Programming Languagess still in this Ai Era!
