Collaboration

The story owner can invite another LixBlogs user from the editor. An invitation appears in the recipient's notifications and must be accepted before they can edit.

Invitations

• Accept grants access to the draft and its live collaboration room.
• Decline rejects the invitation and removes its action buttons.
• A collaborator notification links to the public story only after the story has been published.

Only the owner can change owner-controlled publishing details such as the public slug. Co-authors can contribute content but cannot transfer ownership or silently change the story address.

Live editing and offline fallback

When collaboration is available, connected editors see changes and presence in real time. If the live connection is interrupted, the editor falls back to local editing and reports the connection state. Do not keep two offline copies open for an extended period; reconnect before publishing to avoid overwriting newer changes.

Removing access

The owner can remove a collaborator from the invitation controls. Removed collaborators can no longer open the shared draft. Content already contributed remains part of the story unless an authorized editor removes it.

Share draft access only with people you trust. Collaborators may see unpublished content and media attached to that draft.
